Secure Data Back Up

Our back up is suitable for business and home users. Ask yourself the following questions:
How important is your data to you?
How do you currently backup and have you restored your data recently to ensure that your current backup system works?
Can you afford to loose all your data?
If you currently use Secure Data Back-up do you know where your data is kept? Did you know some countries don’t have Data Protection quite like the UK?

Our Backup solution is UK based and so all your data is covered by the UK’s Data Protection Act. Your data is encrypted before it is sent. It only takes 10 minutes to set-up and too recover your data takes seconds. We admit we may not be the cheapest but we are one of the securest and offer ‘Best Practice’ back up as standard.

What is online backup?

Online data backup is a variant of offsite backup or remote backup. Essentially a method of storing data on a remote server, online data backup uses the internet for transferring the data and for its retrieval at a later date.
Online backup is a completely automated, software-only process. It requires no additional hardware or intervention by the user as the backups occur on a schedule set during the software installation.
Ideal for PCs, laptops, servers and more complex networked environments; Clunk Click Online Backup gives ‘Best Practice’ data backup as standard.
Each day your data is automatically backed up to two high-security offsite data centres located in the UK. In the event of data loss your backup data is secure and available for recovery within minutes.
If you currently backup your data to an external hard drive, tape, CD or USB memory stick you are putting your data at risk.
Clunk Click Online Backup will improve the security of your data and automate your data backup process, allowing you and your staff to concentrate on your business not your backup.

Disadvantages of tape

Someone has to remember to undertake the backup and if necessary take the tapes offsite
If a restore is required, it can be time consuming and costly to retrieve tapes stored offsite
Backup tapes should be replaced each year
A test restore of all tapes should be undertaken on a monthly basis. This can be both costly and time consuming
The backup may not be encrypted and if lost will allow anyone access to the data
"Up to 50% of tape recovery attempts fail" - source Gartner Group
